Description: The west approach to the former Bridge #10. The
rails of the track still remain, albeit half-buried. The bridge was
a single track lift span that carried the former Thorold Sub from
one side of the Welland Canal to another. |

Description: The eastern shore of the former Bridge #10. The
abutments, half-buried rails, and scars on the landscape are the only
remnants left. The former Thorold Sub, which used to cross the bridge,
is abandonned on the west side of the canal, and runs north of Hayes-Dana
and the QUNO paper mill on the east side of the canal. |
